Why choose Canvas Holidays?

Canvas Holidays are renowned for their first class facilities and fun entertainment options. There are a wide range of accommodation options to choose from, ranging from luxury lodges through mobile homes to tents. Within each type of accommodation, there are further choices so that you can choose the facilities you want and the number of people you need to accommodate. Canvas Holidays have thought of all the little extras you need on a camping holiday, providing things like electric lighting in tents all the way up to dishwashers in some of the mobile homes and luxury lodges

One of the things that Canvas Holidays do really well is onsite facilities. In fact, they’re so good that you may struggle to leave the site! Kids will adore the fantastic swimming pool complexes on most campsites – often complete with the obligatory waterslides! (Adults are sure to enjoy the poolside bar or the spa facilities just as much!) And if you can drag the family away from the pool, you’ll find a host of other things to do with options such as mini-golf, tennis, table tennis, bowling, trampolines, volleyball and basketball. Some sites have go-karts and archery, whilst others offer a selection of water sports, pedalo and bike hire.

In High Season, the campsites put on a wide range of entertainment for both adults and children alike, with family cabarets and kids’ discos. Many sites also offer a ‘kids’ club’ during the daytime, allowing adults the chance to spend some relaxing time together.

Canvas Holidays also understand that taking your family to a foreign country can be daunting, so they have English speaking staff to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. They’re a perfect choice for your next family holiday.

What travel documents do I need?

British and Irish citizens are required to have a full (10 year) passport to travel abroad. Application forms are available from the Passport Office, the post office or from the Garda (in Ireland). If you are applying for a passport for the first time, you should do this at least six weeks before your holiday.

In Spain you also need to place a triangle in front of the car. Hi-vis jackets for all car occupants are legally required in France, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, It is also compulsory to carry a breathalyzer kit in France, and single use kits can be bought at ports.
